1st Year – Curricular Units

The first school year was designed with a thorough and comprehensive program to provide solid chemistry training to students with insufficient knowledge in some fields, allowing at the same time the consolidation and expansion of knowledge, by providing know-how in specific areas not addressed in the 1st Cycle of Studies. Students must pass five compulsory UCs (three in the 1st semester and two in the 2nd semester) combined with five optional UCs(two in the 1st semester and three in the 2nd semester), which must be in line with the desired specialization, for a total of 60 ECTS. The table below resumes the UCs planned for the two semesters of the first academic year of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in Chemistry:
