All the UCs and the guidance/supervision of the ‘Dissertation Project’ of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in Chemistry are lectured by lecturers and researchers from DQB-FCUL and other institutions. Also, renowned experts from institutions outside FCUL will be invited to give seminars or conferences on specific topics.
The team involved is multidisciplinary, developing scientific work in all fields of chemistry, namely, Adsorption, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Solid State Chemistry/Materials, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry/Catalysis, Organic Chemistry and Computational Chemistry, integrated into excellent research units, mainly at the Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE), but also, at the BioSystems & Integrative Sciences Institute (BioISI).
