Curricular Plan

FCUL’s 2nd Cycle of Studies in Chemistry has a duration of two academic years, being the first year of advanced university education and the second year of practical specialization in the academic or business environment.

The theoretical and practical classes are taught in dedicated rooms at FCUL, and the laboratories component of both curricular units (UCs) and dissertation project takes place in the FCUL or R&D units laboratories (Chemical Sciences and Technologies).

A total of 120 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) are needed to obtain the degree. Several areas of expertise are foreseen, namely:

                                    • Chemistry (any scientific branch)
                                    • Analytical Chemistry
                                    • Applied Electrochemistry
